Foundation Paper Piecing Class

Enjoy the fun and accuracy of paper piecing.  Sharp points and perfect pieces will be yours with this easy technique that can be used for blocks of all size.  Control for sewing small pieces and odd angles with perfect points will be yours when you sew on a paper foundation.  We will experiment with this technique which will enable you to be more accurate than you ever dreamed possible.  Patterns will be furnished for 4 different blocks to use for practice and to better execute the technique.

Requirements: Supply List: Fabric A variety of fat quarters some light, some medium and some dark, experiment with a variety of blocks Sewing Machine in good working order Size 90/14 sewing machine needles Sewing thread in a neutral color (Aurfil 50/2) Rotary Cutter (smaller) Cutting Mat Rotary ruler (6x18 or 6 x 6 or similar size) Scissors for fabric and paper Add-a-quarter ruler Basic sewing kit Double sided permanent Scotch tape (can be purchased in class ) Tweezers Optional Supplies: Open toe foot Removable tape
