One-on-One Beginning Quilting Class with Pat
You will first practice rotary cutting with fabric provided and once comfortable with rotary cutting, you will begin to cut the fabric you purchased for this quilt and begin to sew the blocks together. You will make a small quilt top and learn how to finish your quilt top by adding borders. Also learn how to prepare your quilt for quilting with your sewing machine. Learn to prepare binding strips, attach them to your quilt edge, and turn mitered corners. We will also discuss a 2 color binding technique that can give your quilt binding a pop of color. This is a great beginners class for learning to quilt. Call the store to set up an appointment!
