UFO's Friday Afternoon Club
Dec 28, 2018
9926 Swanson Blvd.
We meet on the last Friday of every month.
Prize month will be May 2019
General Rules of the club:
Every month we set a goal of what we will achieve the following month. Each goal will be worth 1 point. You may set up to 5 goals per month.
For each monthly goal you achieve, you will receive a ticket. (5 goals met= 5 tickets) The ticket will be used for a drawing at the end of May. For the year, there will be a minimum of 24 possible prizes to win, including fabric, gift certificates, gift packages, notions, patterns, etc. to just name a few ideas. In May, your tickets will have your name on them and go into a drawing basket, at which time, we will draw for prizes!
For each monthly goal not achieved, you will be required to pay $5.00 per unmet goal, which will go into our piggy bank to help support the prizes and cash prizes we draw for in May. (1 unmet goal = $5.00, 2 unmet goals = $10, 3 unmet goals = $15 etc.) Creekside Quilting will donate the remainder of the prizes to meet the minimum 24 prizes.
You do not have to have all goals completed, the tickets and money will be divided up accordingly.
Each member of the group is responsible for coming to the UFO Friday Afternoon Club on the last Friday of the month. If you are unable to attend, in order to avoid paying the $5.00 per each unmet goal, you may:
Email Karen Steggerda at firstname.lastname@example.org with the reason for missing, a picture of your completed goals, and a statement of what your next month’s goal will be
Or text Karen Steggerda at (515)778-4329 with the reason for missing, a picture of your completed goals, and a statement of what your next month’s goal will be
Or send a picture with your friend from the group for them to share and a statement of what your next month’s goal will be.
If you are unable to come to the club meeting, and did not make your goals, your money will be collected at the next month’s meeting.
Karen will keep a monthly list of attendees and the goals they set for the next month. Karen will also keep an envelope for all collected prize money, along with a written list for review.
In order for this to be fun and successful for everyone, we encourage no more than 3 missed meetings per year.
