Community Outreach Program
I think it is important to give back to the community! That's why I am so excited about our next event at Creekside Quilting! Our first community outreach program of 2019 will be to the Urbandale Food Pantry. Super Bowl Sunday is February 3rd, so the month of January, Creekside Quilting will be collecting cans of soup for our own SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY on February 3rd!In January, please bring a can or two or three or etc...of soup and we will put 5 loyalty points on your account for each can of soup you bring into the store! There is no limit! If you bring in 80 cans, you will automatically receive a $25 off coupon towards your next purchase! No matter what, if it is 1 can or 80 cans, you will receive 5 loyalty points per can!Everybody Wins with this community outreach event!
What's New @ Creekside Quilting?
I love these new Kim Diehl wide backs! They will add the "finishing touch" to any quilt!Shamrocks anyone? St. Patrick's Day will be here before we know it, and why not create something for someone and spread a little "Luck of the Irish"!The next three Timeless Treasures fabrics will make a nice blender to your quilts. This line is the Viola line, here are the Tonga Batiks, and then the Echo line. Our talented Patty, whipped up the next two bench pillows for displays at the store! Each are just gorgeous and fun for the holidays!
A lot of new things came in this past week at Creekside, and so I am going to send out two separate emails. This one showcasing all that is new and fresh and the second one with the upcoming classes and events. So please watch for two emails this morning!
It's not too late to start on Valentine's, and you can get this pillow done in the next 4 weeks! We have the pattern, a few kits, and it also comes in a machine embroidery pattern! The pattern is by Kimberbell. The Merry Christmas pillow is on display in our wool area and it combines piecing with embroidery stitches! The pattern is next to the pillow display! Patty used cotton fabrics, but it could be combined with wool. Just darling!Quiltfold Magazine #9 visits Utah! I love this magazine, and wondering how many other people out there are collecting the magazine that travels across America to quilt shops? Each issue is so different and interesting and each quilt shop has it's own flare and is so unique!
The next three Lori Holt items can be found with her fabric lines as you walk into the store. First we have this counted cross stitch pattern called Vintage Christmas Sampler.
Next is her Scrappy Project Planner, that I absolutely love! Want to get organized with your sewing projects this year or get those UFO's done? This planner will be an awesome organizational tool for you to use to achieve your goals. Also comes with a few free patterns in the back of the book!
and lastly...Buttons! Buttons! Buttons!
