COVID -19 Policies and Procedures:
Here is the scoop and our COVID-19 Policies and Procedures...these policies and procedures are in place for the safety and respect of all staff and all customers. On May 26th, this is where we are starting....and things will be fluid as the pandemic changes over the next few months/year.
*Our initial store hours will be 10-4 Monday through Saturday, and Sunday is 1-4 pm.
*We will have a maximum of 10 people in the store at a time...includes staff and customers, so please don't plan on coming into the store in large groups
*We will start with online appointments only. More information to come next Tuesday.
*According to CDC rules, NO FABRIC WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE STORE..NO Quilt tops, NO Quilt Blocks, NO Fabric Swatches. Bring a picture on your phone of what you are needing to match
*NO cash or check transactions....everything will be done by credit cards
*All classes in June will be done through Zoom.com
*Face masks must be worn at all times while in the store
Creekside Quilting has been redesigned to meet the 6 foot spacial guidelines and we ask that you follow those guidelines with us, not only for the safety of yourself, but for others and our staff.
*To best adhere to social distancing guidelines only one person in a aisle at a time....
*We have hung plexiglass at the cutting tables and a table for you to put your purse on while we cut your fabric....this adheres to the 6 feet guide lines
*We have 6 feet markings on the floor
*No public use of the restroom
*Due to the lack of space behind the cutting tables, staff will assist customers with notions, threads, and rulers
*There will be several hand sanitizer stations throughout the store
This has been a tremendous project, and we are investing time and resources in this project for the safety of our customers and our staff....I appreciate your cooperation.

What's New with Pfaff?SVP has been so generous in supporting people, hospitals, and organizations in need!! Makes me proud to be a Pfaff dealer! here is a tidbit of what they have been donating to support the COVID-19 pandemic needs:
• Donating hundreds of sewing machines directly to hospitals to help sew face masks, gowns, respirator covers, and other PPE. For example, we recently helped one of the hardest hit hospitals in the region, the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA, by donating SINGER® Heavy Duty sewing machines and were able to provide relief to the hard-working doctors and nurses.
• Partnering with a range of organizations and companies who want to contribute their time and skillset to help out in their communities. For instance, we are partnering with Old Time Pottery, a regional home essentials retailer, to join their effort in creating masks for frontline healthcare workers by donating sewing machines, tools, materials, and space for sewers. We donated SINGER® sewing machines to Christian Siriano and his efforts in NYC, and to the seamstresses at Rightfully Sewn® to support their mask-sewing initiative in Kansas City, Missouri. SVP Worldwide supports JOANN employees in their headquarters with SINGER® machines.

Right now, so many people are facing difficult times with heartaches and disappointments, chaos and loss...one thing we can hold on to as true, each day the sun rises and the sun sets. Sometimes it is just the little things in life that make help balance us and make us a little stronger to face the change, challenges and adversity that come our way. karen steggerda
