What's New @ Creekside Quilting?
  Stephanie Brandenburg's new LINE of fabric is called Daydreamin' and it is vibrant with colors!  This panel could be quilted and hung as is, or you could add some of the line's solids:

  for a boarder or let those cretive juices flow with something unique! 
Something unique about this line is she has created panels that can stand alone or take two panels and sew them together to create a 1.33 yard x 42 inch quilt.  This could be quilted, and hung or used as a bed topper...it would look spectacular as a shower curetain or drape also....the ideas of what can be done with this fabric line is unlimited...but you won't be disappointed with the vibrant colors!
 

  What you might not know, is that Stephanie paints the pictures, and then sends them off to be developed into fabric.  It's quite the interesting process of how this is done.  Then end result is amazing!!  View and order HERE

  Jan's Quilting for Beginners: A Hobby for Life Class starts January 17th for three consecutive Monday nights.   

Learn the basics of quilt making start to finish using modern techniques, rotary cutter and mat.  Basic sewing experience and access to home sewing machine is required.  Students receive a pattern for a simple project to learn step by step.  Then students will be able to quilt with confidence and knowledge to complete a project. Students must provide their own sewing supplies and tools.  Register HERE  You won't be disappointed by everything you are going to learn in three sessions!

We are just starting to get into the swing of a year of Block of the Months.  Here are the first two for 2022!

  Frosty Goes to Town is a 7 month block of the month starting February 2022.  This block of the month is machine applique, or could be needle turn applique or could be done with wool applique!  The Block of the Month comes each month with the pattern for the month and the fabric kit.  We are using cottons and not wools for the kit.

 Wednesday, December 8th at 1pm is Patchwork Sister's Book Club We are reading for the month of Gone but Knot Forgotten by Mary Marks.  Once again, she has captivated me and I can't put the book down!  Come join us for a lively discussion!

CRAZY  Challenge Group is Wednesday, December 8th at 2:30 pm!  

  
  NEW DAY AND ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN  Sit and Knit with Elaine on Thursday, December 9th starting at 10:30 am.  This club is open to anyone who likes to knit, and would like to knit with other knitters! This group is open to everyone so just come on in and join the fun!

Our Treemendous Joy Group ended yesterday, and we had plenty of completed quilt tops to show and tell!
