The Hot Pad Club is coming this August!! We will be using the pattern Vintage Holiday by Camille Roskelley to create 9 vintage holiday hot pads! August through November you will get 2 patterns and fabric kits, and in December 1 pattern and fabric kit. Give the hot pads away as gifts or keep them for yourself for a festive holiday event! ***PLEASE NOTE before you come to class, make sure your sewing machine is in good working condition and has all the necessary supplies you will need to run the sewing machine. A good understanding of how to use your sewing machine is a must. Sewing classes require a basic sewing kit and quilting tools.
***PLEASE NOTE that cancelation of classes will be refunded up to 1week prior to the class date and time. After that, the instructor is expecting you and there will be no refunds for cancelations.
Tuesday, August 9th Featherweight Cleaning and Polishing Do you have a Singer Featherweight that needs to be oiled, greased, and polished? Michael Rice is going to be in our store on Tuesday, August 9th and Tuesday, August 23rd to provide this service. Monday, August 15th Hugs & Stitches Quilting Service is a local business that provides quilting serives for our customers! If you have a quilt top that is finished, and are just looking for someone to quilt it, drop off your quilt by the pick up dates located on our website calendar! We have a booklet of quilt designs and thread color to choose from. Once the paperwork is filled out, your quilt will be picked up for quilting and returned back to Creekside Quilting in a timely manner for payment and pick up. A non-refundabe deposit of $75 is required at time of drop off, and the $75 will be posted against the completed amount.

Hand Applique Sew-in Group meets Wednesday, August 17th and everyone who hand appliques (wool or needleturn) is welcome! This group starts at 10:30am and runs all day...so come and go as you need!
NEW SEASON STARTING!! Singer Featherweight Club will be Saturday, August 20th at 10:30 Do you have a vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machine? Join us the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m for a day of sewing with other Singer Featherweight enthusiasts! Bring your projects, share your ideas, share your knowledge about the machine, and enjoy a day of sewing with new friends on featherweights. This group is open to everyone...you just need to have a Singer Vintage Featherweight to sew upon! Come join the fun! Registration is not required.

UFO CLUB Friday, August 26th at 1 pm. This year we are doing it a little differently! Come any last Friday of the month and pay $2 to particpate for that day. The first $1 will go towards meeting your goals and the second $1 will go into the kitty for our year end party of prizes for our achievements! You can start any month you want, set any goals you want, and collect your $1 back the next month with at least one met goal. IF you don't meet at least one of the goals you set, you owe a dollar. If you miss the next month, you owe a dollar for each month missed when you return. Come any month...no need to register...just show up and complete some of the UFO's that are driving you crazy!

Thursday, September 1st is Millie P.'s kickoff to Lunchtime Lives at noon with Julia! Lunchtime Lives are live events featuring 12 quilt shops around the United States for the first 12 days of the month starting each day at noon!
Lunch and Learn on Friday, September 2nd will be a demonstration on how to use the new CM Designs Add-a-Binding Ruler! Come enjoy a slice of pizza and a 20% discount on the ruler while we demonstrate this new ruler. Demo starts at noon!
Clothesline Club Monday, September 12th at 1 pm will start up again and we will focus this year on scrap quilts! You can register HERE
Quilting for Beginners-A Hobby for Life starts evenings on Monday, September 19th for a three session class at 6pm on Monday's with Jan! OR Wednesday evenings starting Wednesday, September 21st! This beginning quilt class is at night and you will learn so much from Jan!! Best class around if you are wanting to learn to quilt!
