We are HIRING a Monday through Friday team member for a 9:30 am-4:15 pm shift!
We are in need of a person who would like to be a sale's associate some days, cut kits other days, fill fabric orders as needed, and an all around flexible person who is willing to jump right in and help with what is needed to be done for the day!
*Job requires the abilty to get up on a ladder to hang and take down quilts.
*Basic Microsoft computer skills in Word and Excel are a must.
*This position requires a lot of movement and standing.
*You must have quilting knowledge and be able to bring in a quilt you made with your interview.

Thursday, December 15th is Mid Month Madness all day long. We are getting down to the end of the year and we are also getting down to the end of our supply of bags! This bag will only be available while quantities last, and then in 2023, we will have a new bag. Last in the series of Make and Takes for December! Monday, December 19th at 11:30am is the candy cane wreath, which will be lead by Karen. The wreath form will be provided...you bring your 2" x 7" pre-cut scraps and away we will go for an hour and half of fun! You need about 8 fat quarters of pre-cut fabric. Register HERE

Wednesday, December 28th at 2:30pm is our Elm Creek Quilter's Book Club. This month we are reading The Christmas Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini
Saturday, December 31st is our Annual Customer Appreciation Sale from 10am -3pm! Each customer will receive 40% off one item of your choice. (There are a few exceptions, including, but not limited to, Pfaff machines, some kits, some rulers, some wool precuts, no class registrations, and limited to 2 yards of fabric etc.) Online orders use the coupon code THANKYOU40 (no spaces). What's Happening in January Around Creekside Quilting?
Saturday, January 14th starting at 12:30pm, Express You Emotions with Slow Stitch. This workshop is an exploration of mindful self-care practice through the process of inviting in emotion to be expressed and embraced with hand stitching. We will discuss how your emotions influence (and can block) your creativity, and you will be guided through mindful coping skills and a slow stitch project. Activities will be hands-on and all supplies will be included to utilize and take away from class. Questions, discussion, and newcomers are welcome, and a third optional hour will be offered for social stitching. Ultimately, this class is meant to enhance your mental health by learning how to emotionally express yourself with fabric and the skills can be applied to your other mediums as well. Class caps at 12 for comfort. Register HERE

Lucky Sevens Virtual Shop Hop! Creekside Quilting is kicking off our own virtual shop hop! Lucky Sevens virtual shop hop will feature 8 independent quilt shops each month on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of the month at 12pm CST and 7pm CST through Facebook.
